Week 12:
11/11/19-11/16/19
Welcome back my loves! I hope you all had an awesome three-day weekend! On Tuesday, it was an easy and calm day. We just had group visits and welcome desk shifts. Wednesday, we had the blood drive table again to recruit students to help donate blood to those who need it, we also had the IM sports for the last time of the semester since the weather is getting colder and the semester is almost over. Thursday, I worked the UCBA Blood Drive from 11-3pm outside of Muntz and it was nice to see the marines and those who have served our country. We had hot coco, fruits, cookies, donuts and hoodies or t shirts for students who signed up and donated it was a great day! We also had recruitment days where employers can recruit students in working with them and that went well! Friday, we had another UC smiles at school and those kiddos were from North College Hill. They were sweet and hyper kids. It went amazing and everyone had a blast. There was also a meeting with Vice Chair Ron Brown and students got to talk about their experiences and likes of UCBA. There was campus tours, perspective tours and welcome desk shifts. We had a busy and exciting Friday! On Saturday, Emily and I were supposed to participate in the 60th Anniversary of Annexation Ride-A-Thon but we couldn't find the place, we literally drove to three different locations and still didn't find it so we called our supervisors and they told us to add the hours in our calendars and go home since we didn't know the address and the lady in charge didn't pick up our phone calls so em and I literally got free hours! Best morning ever! Take care my loves and I love you!
