Week 11:
11/4/19-11/9/19
Welcome back my loves! I hope you all had a great week and ready for another blog post?! So on Monday I woke up happy and ready to go to Spanish class to learn more Spanish vocabulary and see profesora! We had our ambassador meeting and that went well. On Tuesday, it was election day so voting for levy's, new people in offices, etc.. I went out and voted and it was amazing to see all the people who cared for their community and wants to see a difference! I also worked the welcome desk that day and it was calm. I didn't have phone calls, over phone calls. It was a nice and steady day. Wednesday, I had another welcome desk shift and I worked on a group project in my ECE class and it was fun. It was called the Jigsaw puzzle game. On Thursday, it was a CRAZY, but FUN day. We had our homecoming pep rally! It was cold and snowing outside so we had a plan b to have it inside and all the ambassadors working had a role. I was co-captain so I made sure everyone had what they needed and asked if they needed any assistance with anything before and during the event. Fun story: Emily and I lowkey got kicked out of a classroom while the professor was talking in her lecture class, we we're just bringing stuff out of the fun closet but her students got "distracted".. lol but the professor sent an email to our supervisors, complaining and we had a talk as a group to resolve the situation. It all went well and we know what to do next time to respect all. There was group visits, welcome desk shifts and the french festival film all the same day. It all went well, but man we were tired. Friday was my favorite event of all! We had our first UC smiles event at school and the cutest kiddos from Norwood was there and they just were so sweet, funny and very happy to be getting their teeth cleaned up! We gave them tours and feed them it was a great time honestly! We had the blood drive table to have students sign up to donate blood to those in need and we had lots of students sign up! It was a huge success! We had campus tours and welcome desk shifts all day so it was a productive week! Take care my loves and I love you!
