Week 1:
8/26/19-8/30/19

Hello everyone! I hope your first week of classes were awesome and not so stressful! Alright, I started my junior year of college today and I am beyond blessed and thankful for an awesome summer, amazing relationships I have created with the Student Orientation Leaders, Student Orientation Coordinators and the classes I have chosen this semester! I have learned so much from them and I can't wait to see what the future has in stored for us. First week of classes back and I had worked the welcome desk shifts, giving out 30 minute prospective tours, covering the information table, and working the Sweet With SOLs event. The welcome desk shifts were hard and stressful at first because it was the first day of school and about every single student had a question, concern or guidance. After working about three welcome desk shifts I am doing great with it! I know what to say, do, guide etc. I love giving out student prospective tours because that's when I can show off our amazing, beautiful campus, brag about how great the professors are and importantly what free student resources we give all our UC Blue Ash students. I talk about my experience and what I love about the campus. It's a great feeling honestly. I worked the information table once, and I liked giving out UC gear, directing the students to the right building or floor, interacting with the students was great because everyone seemed to be happy and willing to learn! I love helping others! Lastly, my favorite event so far was the Sweet With SOLs! I really liked how students came up and asked why we are serving free cookies and candy and we told them because we love and appreciate you! We had students tell us about their college experience, if they had any questions or concerns regarding anything and letting us know that we are awesome lol you gotta love each other! I loved my first week back and can't wait to continue the awesome journey! Take care my loves & I love you all!
